Austin Yellow Bikes Celebrates 9 Years
Out in Texas the Austin Yellow Bike Project is celebrating a birthday this weekend.
I received the following e-mail about it:
Hello,
Just wanted to get the word out about our 9th Anniversary Celebration coming up this Saturday, May 27. The event will be held at Gallery Lombardi (3rd and Bowie street, behind Tambaleo, facing the railroad tracks) from 6pm - 12 midnite. There will be live music outside, a DJ inside, and lots of Bike-themed art for sale and/or just to look at.
Also, Austin's new Beer Coop, Black Star Pub, will be providing fresh and delicious beer for your enjoyment.
It will be a benefit for Austin's Yellow Bike Project; suggested donation is $9 - $90 (hee hee), so come on out and support the best community program in Austin!
