Villiage Bicycle Project June Effort a Group Affair
Oscar H. Blayton, of the interesting, and informative, Blog called All African (Self Help) Bazaar, has a great post on efforts to provide bicycles to people on the African Continent.
Bikes Not Bombs says that since September 2002 it has shipped nearly 2,000 bicycles and tons of parts to the Village Bicycle Project.
Not only does Bikes Not Bombs send bikes to Ghana through the Village Bike Project but it is one of five organizations that have combined to send THIRTY TWO CONTAINERS of bicycles to Ghana totaling over 8000 bikes as of June 2006.

Came here via...well, you know.
To answer the question on the link I clicked--
Yes, I do cycle.
Not as much as I used to, but I still do so.
In fact, I'm training (kinda) for the Seagull Century in Salisbury, MD, this October.
