Still Unclear on the Concept

20 days ago I got an e-mail from a guy with a "Helmet Website", looking to get me to add a link to his site, and to reward me with a free pair of sunglasses if I did so. ;-D

To refresh your memory here's my original post reporting his message, and my reply.

Being the tough, sophisticated, and inquisitive reporter you all know, and love, you will note the 2 very challenging, and deeply probing, questions I asked my correspondent. ;-D

That being said... 20 days?

I didn't think the questions were THAT complicated to answer! ;-D

Anyway, this arrived yesterday:

I forgot where I found your site, but it was really interesting to me and thought it would be great if you could link to me.

Send me your address and I would be more than happy to send you some sunglasses.

The following is my response to him:

Hi Steve,

That's nice, but that still does not explain what you found interesting about it considering my Blog, and your website, have absolutely nothing in common.

You DO know that my Blog is about BICYCLING, and that a Bicycle is not a MOTORCYCLE, and therefore a Helmet meant for those who ride a Motorcycle, would be of no use to people the likes of me? ;-D

Still Curious, and Still with no need for sunglasses. ;-D

It's a fact of life, even in this day and age that, occasionally, some folks need to have the obvious spelled out for them. ;-D

Hopefully this helpfullness on my part will cut down the response time by half. ;-D

Be nice, Dude. ;-)

I also get emails requesting link exchanges from motorcycle-related blogs and sites.

Think you were a bit harsh there......
"my Blog, and your website, have absolutely nothing in common".

Some Downhill MTBers use Motorcycle (MX) helmets, Goggles, and body armour.
