Zoom! Corvair! Agony for Me! A Cyclist's Salute to Hee Haw

Imagine, if you will, 4 beat up, and battered, spandex clad, cyclists, on crutches, and in casts, sitting, and standing, in front of their neighborhood bike shop, with display windows as backround...

To get you in the right frame of mind for this sing-a-long, sit back, and enjoy the masters at work...Gloom, Despair, and and Agony on Me. ;-D

Zoom! Corvair! (Yes, just like with Hee Haw, there is an OHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! after each of the 1st 3 lines!)

Zoom! Corvair! Agony for me!
Two broken arms, and a busted knee!
If it weren't for my other bike, I'd have no bike at all!
Zoom! Corvair! Agony for me!

We figured the car would pass, giving us room to the hilt
And we figured the driver would see that to do anything else would mean we might be kilt
'Cause the road was two lane, and to our right was a cliff
How was we to know he didn't care if our blood was spilt?

Zoom! Corvair! Agony for me!

If it weren't for my other bike, I'd have no bike at all!

Zoom! Corvair! Agony for me!

We figured the car would go on by, giving us some room
And we figured the driver would see the parked cars
Meaning getting too close would spell our certain doom
How was we to know she was dabbing on make-up, causing us to see stars?

We figured we had the right of way, crossing the intersection
And we figured all the drivers saw us, and were stopped
'Cause anyone could see the signs with just a cursory inspection
How was we to know that he was Texting, meaning we'd get bopped?

Zoom! Corvair! Agony for me!
Two broken arms, and a busted knee!
If it weren't for my other bike, I'd have no bike at all!
